Captain Jeff Brown -

Port Canaveral
Well the fish have been here for a month now and freezers are filling up. Yesterday 6-30-10 (my first day of retirement by the way) we took some folks out and spotted at least 100 cobia. The fish were all over the place and ever boat around us had fish on. I have never seen cobia as thick and here for as long as these fish have been. Our clients did not want to keep any fish as they were out of town and had no place to keep them. We kept two to put in the freezer and released all the other fish. I saw one which would have gone about 80 pounds but when I cast the bait to him a smaller one grabbed it up. The largest fish we had was about 50 pounds and the guy fought it for 40 minutes before the line gave up and popped, what a massive fish. It's game on and I hope they stay here a little longer. Come on and get you some of these, Capt. Jeff
Let's Go Fishing!

Boat:
While out on your trip on the CopOut you will find the ride to be smooth and dry. CopOut is a 2006 Angler, 29' center console with plenty of seating and a head. It has all the required Coast Guard equipment and more. Even after one of our 15 hour tuna trips you still do not have the feeling of being crowded. The CopOut also sports twin Yamaha 250's. She can run in the low 50's to get you on the fish quick. When you take a trip with us we have everything you need except for your lunch and drinks (beer is ok with us). We'll send you home with your fish cleaned and packaged by one of our hard working mates. Check out our website for a list of suggestions of things to bring and what not to bring. .

About Us!
Capt. Jeff grew up fishing the waters off of Port Canaveral and has continued to work mainly out of the Port. Along with his family (his wife of 26 years, daughter, and son) he has fished the keys, the west coast and some in the Bahamas. You will find him and his mates family friendly whether it is a hard core fishing trip or just a family excursion. The copout crew is known at the local bait shops as one of the friendliest crews around. They pride themselves on making sure YOU have a great day on the water by customizing your trip to fulfill your every wish.
